This Privacy Policy explains how PrepNMC collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information across our website, mobile app, subscription flows, competitions, and support channels.

1. Scope of this policy

PrepNMC is an educational platform built for nursing and midwifery learners. This Privacy Policy applies to the PrepNMC website, the PrepNMC mobile app, and the support, subscription, and account services connected to them.

When you create an account, sign in, complete onboarding, practice questions, join a weekly mock, subscribe, contact support, or request an account change, we process information needed to deliver those services safely and reliably.

2. Information we collect

The exact information we collect depends on how you use PrepNMC, but it generally falls into a few clear categories.

  • Account and profile information such as your full name, email address, username, PrepNMC ID, and profile preferences.
  • Academic information such as your school or institution name, programme, institution type, and study level.
  • Study activity such as question attempts, submitted answers, weak areas, course progress, scores, recent practice history, and competition participation.
  • Subscription and payment records such as entitlement status, plan selection, payment references, purchase troubleshooting records, and access verification events. PrepNMC does not store full card details.
  • Technical and device information such as sign-in activity, device session records, push notification tokens, notification preferences, and service usage events needed to keep your account secure.
  • Support and account-management information such as messages sent during payment help, device-transfer reviews, recovery requests, and account-deletion requests.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to create and manage your account, personalize your study experience, match you to the right programme and level, restore access when you sign in again, and show your progress over time.

We also use it to verify subscription status, process entitlement changes, send study or account notifications when you have opted in, investigate suspicious activity, respond to support requests, and improve the stability and usability of the platform.

4. How we share information

PrepNMC does not sell your personal information. We only share information where it is reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with the law, or protect our users, team, and systems.

That may include sharing relevant data with service providers that help us run PrepNMC, such as our authentication and database providers, subscription and payment processors, notification delivery services, and infrastructure or support tools acting on our behalf.

We may also disclose information where required by law, where needed to investigate fraud or abuse, or where necessary to enforce our terms and protect the safety of the platform.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Paid access is activated only after the relevant payment or subscription provider confirms the transaction or entitlement state. For mobile access, purchases may be handled through the relevant app store and connected subscription tooling. For web checkout, payments may be handled by approved payment providers.

PrepNMC receives the transaction status, access state, reference details, and related support records needed to grant or troubleshoot access, but we do not store full bank card numbers in our own systems.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep personal information for as long as your account remains active and for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, maintain support and audit records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, security, or accounting obligations.

You can request deletion of your PrepNMC account and associated data through our public Delete Account page or by contacting cesiumresources@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity before completing a deletion request.

If a request involves an active subscription, an unresolved payment issue, a dispute, or a security concern, we may keep limited records for review and compliance even after ordinary account access is closed.

7. Security and account controls

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted network transport, access controls, account-authentication tooling, and role-based restrictions for administrative actions.

No internet service can promise absolute security, so you should also protect your own account by keeping your password private, using accurate recovery information, and contacting support promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

8. Children and age-appropriateness

PrepNMC is designed for older students and adult learners preparing for nursing and midwifery exams. It is not knowingly directed to young children.

If you believe personal information was submitted to PrepNMC inappropriately, please contact us so we can review and take the necessary action.

9. Changes to this policy and contact details

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the platform, our support processes, or legal requirements change. When we make material updates, we will revise the effective date shown on this page.
